About the role:

Our reectech team is looking for two motivated and skills DevOps Engineers, who are ready to take the next step in their development. If you’re able to achieve results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and want to see a clear impact of your work to those around you and our customers, this is the role for you.

As valued members our DevOps Engineers will be part of a large cross-functional delivery team that strives to delivery value in a large and highly successful organisation that continues to grow strongly. You will be outcome focused with a drive to build the best experiences for your customers.

What you’ll do

As we enter new lines of business, diversify applications and embrace cloud technologies, as a DevOps Engineer you are expected to:

• Guide the wider team on technical matters related to DevOps tools and technology
• Become a subject matter expert within your domain
• Contribute the development of the Cloud strategy
• Demonstrate and encourage an open-minded approach to your work
• Encourage and support a growth and learning mindset
• Seek and advocate continuous improvement

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience in a systems administration, cloud systems operations, development and/or DevOps role
• Experience in Open Source, SaaS or PaaS development
• Experience in designing and architecting high availability solutions
• Experience in cloud platforms, containers, and continuous delivery
• AWS/Kubernetes experience (big plus but not mandatory)
• Exposure to systems automation
• Strong scripting and/or coding skills. Shell Script, Python or Ruby and etc.

• Ability to engage and work productively within the team
