About Impact Data
Impact Data provides software and services to help small to medium-sized business save time and make money.
To support our SaaS software systems, we provide a platform to support integrations between third party systems and our own, and also build more customised integration solutions to service more advanced client requirements.
About the position
We require a developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join the integrations team. This is a full-time on-site position at our office in the Melbourne CBD.
You'll be primarily writing Python code, but you'll need to be able to work with a range of different technologies to maintain and improve our internal systems and build customised solutions for our clients.
In addition to producing clean, readable code with tests, you should be comfortable at the command line, using Git and Github workflows, reviewing your peers' code, gathering requirements, and providing estimates.
Ideally you will have a few years of experience using:
- Python
- SQL
- Linux
- REST APIs
And we'd also look favourably upon:
- Experience with Ruby, Java, or Elixir
- Experience with AWS services such as EMR, ECS, Lambda
- Solid knowledge of statistics and/or machine learning
