Located in Brindabella Park, an opportunity now exists for a Siebel Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team who support our largest Federal Government account. As a Siebel Application Support Specialist, be responsible for Siebel technical administration, support, maintenance, and deployment activities.You be a self-motivated and tenacious team player who has experience in Application Support having worked with Siebel and in the IT support space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure & maintain Siebel environments in pre-production and production environments;
  • Troubleshooting high level Siebel issues for the client including Siebel server configuration, integration with 3rd party applications and infrastructure services;
  • Assisting with Siebel system documentation;
  • Providing high level of customer service;
  • Managing incidents within SLAs;
  • Executing system changes through a controlled and managed manner;
  • Deploy Siebel environment configuration changes in response to applications issues/incidents;
  • Develop & maintain scripts for supporting automated Siebel deployment activities in multiple environments;
  • Deploy reference data migrations from pre-production to production environments;  

To be considered for this role you must possess the following key skills & experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in an IT Service Desk or Desktop Support role with broad exposure to service management processes;
  • Demonstrated experience in the resolution of Siebel technical issues;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and exposure to Siebel environment architecture;
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Siebel environments;
  • Experience with Siebel product installs, upgrades, and implementing version control and migration processes
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level Siebel implementations and/or customer relationship management systems;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and privacy of customer data;

Desirable Skills that will be highly advantageous:

  • Certification in information technology disciplines;
  • Certification in ITIL V3 Foundation;

Due to Federal Government client requirements, applicants must currently be Australian Citizens and be eligible to gain a Baseline Security Clearance. Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility and be willing to work outside of business hours including nights and weekends as per an on-call roster.
