THE ROLE
The successful candidate will process some of the below experience and will service cross functional management systems within this company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to broaden their skillset and work in a process orientated environment. It is an 6-month Contract looking for an immediate start.
Role / Responsibilities
- Data Discovery: Report on metadata definitions for data and their DQ requirements.
- Data Profiling (Validity): Compare existing data to metadata definitions & report on conflicts
- Analyse & prioritise data issues identified during data profiling
- Improve data processes against DQ metrics & establish processes to identify, escalate & resolve data issues
- Establish a legacy system data cleansing programme to remediate existing data to meet defined DQ thresholds
- Identify goals of Data Quality team.
- Determine system flows necessary to meet Data Quality and integration needs.
- Identify systems to be updated or modified based on Data Quality and integration needs.
- Develop a plan for the update/modification of systems based on Data Quality improvement needs.
- Implement the Data Quality improvement plan developed.
Experience Required
- Data cleansing
- Knowledge of metadata definitions
- DQ thresholds
