As the successful applicant you will be commercially minded with a high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and a drive to succeed. A tertiary qualification and at least 3 - 5 years end to end hardware, software and licensing procurement experience across procurement strategy development and supplier management is essential.

  • Developed and driven clear and robust procurement strategies across all Support and Project spend
  • Negotiated value driven supply agreements that are in line with defined commercial, ethical and legal requirements
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify the optimum supplier relationships for the organisation
The Hardware Procurement Support Representative will manage a broad based procurement system that supports strategic supplier partnerships as well as newly vetted supplier contracts
  
The focus for this role will be to grow a relatively immature function to the next level, ensuring the needs of the business are met with due care and attention to quality. risk, price, timeframe and requirement, negotiate and manage major purchasing contracts with a view to increase quality, reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
  
The role will also ask that you assist in helping to grow the footprint of the organisations product suite across Australia. You will be expected to manage a large volume of daily outbound interactions with prospective customers via phone and email - qualifying, educating and connecting them to sales activities.

The primary role of BMO is to work the business to assist in safeguarding standardised and compliant outcomes across regionals and within client specific environments

Position Considerations
  • Escalations and management of hardware and license warranty and vendor support activities
  • Pricing activities for unmanaged business partners
  • Weekly pipeline management call with AD’s/BDM's
  • Delivery Coordination
  • Approval/on boarding of new resellers
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
  
KPI’s
  • Customer Service
    • Deliver efficient and courteous service to internal and external clients measured by a bi-annual client survey.
  • Support Processes
    • Actively managing client and internal procurement requests (quote, order and delivery management), keeping the requestor informed of Service Request ticket progress within prescribed SLA’s, measured both weekly and monthly.
    • Accurately and promptly enter work details against Service Request tickets
  • Weekly/Monthly Reports
    • Complete New asset and Asset support reports for the respective client within the first business week of the following month.
  • Pro-activity
    • In reference to the monthly report generation, ensure all Asset support contracts, Licenses and Warranty requests have been actioned and fulfilled as required
    • Ensure the Asset support information is accurately updated within the CMDB in a timely manner
