Big wave Digital are thrilled to be partnering with a leading New York based Digital business to source an outstanding Senior Node.js engineer.

This fantastic opportunity will see you working on Greenfield project for one of the largest Media organisations in the world. The client is based in Sydney but the contract will offer you the chance to work remotely with the occasional visit to the client in the Sydney CBD. 

More and more these days remote work is becoming very attractive, so here's your chance to secure such a position. Although you will be working remotely you will be part of a larger team with LOTS of support and team spirit.

Essential skills and experience:

• Advanced Node.js knowledge, with an expected 3+ years solid experience working with this technology.
• Strong REST Services experience.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

Nice to haves:

• Some Caching knowledge
• AWS Knowledge
• Some Python Knowledge

This is a role that requires an expert in their field. You will be an exceptional engineer and a first class communicator with strong business facing skills.
