The ICT Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the establishment, delivery and management of ICT projects and programs. Our client is seeking additional project management staff to supplement the internal capacity and capability. The FY18/19 work program consists of several key business systems projects that include:

The Integration Services project will:

• Procure specialist services and capability;
• Design and implement Biztalk and Biztalk 360 platforms for production and non-production environments;
• Implement the BizTalk platform and other tools and services required for the development and support of the BizTalk platform and the integration services;
• Develop and document a set of design and development standards to produce integration services;
• Design and implement release and environment management standards, artefacts, processes and services to ensure good practice operational governance;
• Design and implement associated testing standards, artefacts, processes and services;
• Develop up to 47 initial known extract transform load (ETL) scripts as industry standard integration services;
• Develop, implement and support additional integration services as required;
• Design a continuous integration and continuous delivery model with automated regression testing harness capability; and
• Purchase and deploy necessary hardware to establish the integration, pre-production and production environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the delivery of complex projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies), ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained;
• Manage and control resources, operational and capital costs against the project budget and manage expectations of all project stakeholders;
• Actively support business change, act as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders and facilitate relationships between them;
• Promote the change vision to staff at all levels of the business operation, and keep a focus on business objectives;
• Work with senior people responsible for the line business operation to ensure maximum business operations improvements are made as the project delivers its products into operational use;
• Maintain the business case for funding the program/project and confirm continuing business viability of the project/program at regular intervals;
• Manage project risk. Carry out risk assessment for identifying potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the project and/or the business;
• Prepare briefing material and regular performance reports for key stakeholders;
• Manage change and stakeholder engagement to ensure that impacts are clearly articulated in a structured and planned manner;
• Observe and comply with all Seqwater Work Health and Safety standards and practices, Quality Management System Procedures and Environmental Management system procedures; and
• In all duties, comply with the behavioural expectations set out in Seqwater’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of PRINCE2 project methodology is highly regarded;
• A working knowledge of and/or accreditation in Agile project delivery is an advantage; and
• Hold a current motor vehicles drivers’ licence.
