The GNSS CORS Applications Officer will support daily GNSS CORS operations by ensuring secure and continuous (24/7) operation of departmental servers and related components, client/server applications, network/communications infrastructure, GNSS CORS network software, and custom developed scripts and applications.
They will develop new and innovative techniques to optimise the reliability and efficiency of real-time GNSS CORS data streaming services and client/server communication, assist with the installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of GNSS CORS network software and its associated applications.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in administering high-security, real-time cloud computing environments and large data archives; experience in scripting, coding, database SQL and configuration of software applications and content management systems and experience in managing and administering ICT infrastructure (hardware, firmware and platform) components over distributed networks.
Formal qualifications in computer science or spatial sciences is required.
