Key Accountabilities:
• Support and maintain existing Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure technologies and services
• Contribute to the ongoing Cloud Transformation projects, future innovations and business demands
• Work with in the IT infrastructure team, dealing directly with the end users and business stockholders
• Candidate should expect and not be opposed to [performing a wide variety of IT support ranging from simple desktop support, to diagnosing and resolving servers and network issues
• Patch infrastructure systems when required to the policy and architectural standards
• Perform on call weekend support duties as part of a rotating roster with in the Infrastructure team (generally one weekend a month).
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base through knowledge sharing and documenting technical issues that have not previously been encountered
• Assisting with the internal projects and development activities
• Automate repetitive tasks via scripting
• Other role related tasks as directed by Infrastructure Manager
Selection Criteria:
• Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Office365 and VMware in particular)
• Solid experience with physical server and storage hardware
• High level of Microsoft Operating System Roles and Features skills (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS etc.)
• Solid experience with routers, switches and firewalls (Cisco, Dell and SonicWALL in particular)
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, IPSEC tunnels etc.
• Experience in supporting and maintaining backup solutions
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Possess a Victorian Drivers License
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks per demands and willingness to learn
• SCCM design and automation skills are preferred
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks via scripting (desirable)
• Experience with VOIP technologies (desirable)
•Citrix experience (desirable)
• Relevant Industry Certification (desirable)
