Our client is a leading digital business that offers a range of online services direct to consumers and in collaboration with key business partners. The central purpose is to change people's lives by making a positive impact long-term.

Due to expansion, a position exists for a talented Front-End Developer to join the internal technical team in the centrally located office. The work will include taking the lead on implementing the front-end experience on the new platform they are building, as well as being the champion for bringing the technical and creative viewpoints together.  Essentially, you will own the area and spearhead the front-end environment.  React.js is the key technology so at least a year experience is mandatory.

This role will expose you to new technologies and you will be deeply involved in developing exciting new projects that are rolled out. The right person for this role should be a self-starting problem solver who can work independently with minimal supervision. You will have strong verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based development projects.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• React.js (minimum 1 year)
• Exposure or experience with other .js frameworks and libraries
• Bootstrap with SASS
• Strong HTML5 and CSS3 experience
• Javascript, JQuery
• API integration experience
• Agile experience
• Extensive experience with responsive design
• A flair for creativity

Any of the following is advantageous but not mandatory:

• .Net integration experience
• GitHub source control
• CMS integration
• Jira
