The Role
An exciting Senior IT Support/Systems Admin opportunity has arisen to work within a small team environment with a well established Education/Researched focused Network Provider
This is a broad role with a strong initial focus on setting up the Sydney service desk and looking for ways to eventually improve the overall IT related processes, incidents and service management framework.
As the Senior IT Support/Systems Admin you will also be strong in the helpdesk support with the view and want to act as a mentor/lead to new Support staff which will be onboarding within the next 12 months
The role will report into the CIO who’s focus is to maintain an enjoyable team environment that provides an excellent IT Support services to the business’s 100 Staff
The Technologies you need to have an understanding of are;
- Windows Server 2008 +
- VWware
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Exchange
- JIRA
- Unified Communications
- Audio / Visual
- Linux (Redhat) - Nice to have but not essential
Your Profile
To be successful within this role you will ideally have;
- Strong Helpdesk support experience with AV Support
- Be an excellent communicator that builds good relationships
- Have an interests /background in incident and process managements
- Thrive on a challenge and have the drive to consistently be learning
- Have worked in a similar environment or Managed Service / Start up before
