Background:A client-facing, business and technical staff position responsible for all aspects of managing production Managment systems for APAC clients as part of our clients Software as a Service (Saas)/Managed Services offerings which includes Application Management of financial trading systems for hosted and non-hosted clients.
Responsibilities:
This role will involve working closely with Clients, providing expert level remote management, administration and support for Client production solutions, including:
- Perform frontline technical support as part of a global team to deliver exemplary customer service to clients.
- Coordinate with clients, internal colleagues, and vendors to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve client-reported problems or issues detected by automation tools.
- Escalate and track issues which exceed the scope of the frontline support capability.
- Application and database performance tuning
- Daily operational processing monitoring and support
- Implement database software patches and version upgrades
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery assistance
- Participation in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement for the services.
- Minimum of 3+ years' relevant industry experience.
- Ability to succeed in a mission critical, technical, customer service and support environment. Aptitude for technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with portfolio management, electronic trading systems, FIX protocol, financial software applications is desirable.
- Salesforce administrator or related experience desirable, but not required
- Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions.
- General familiarity with Windows administration, networking, and databases preferred
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities.
