The Company

A respected and trusted IT Security Integrator that provides IT Security consultancy, implementation, integration, and support services to Financial Services, Commercial and Government organisations on Information Security solutions and Cloud based implementations. 

Due to strong growth, the company is currently looking to hire an experienced Security Engineer to be responsible in Implementation, Integration, Monitoring, and support activities with a broad set of security technologies experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical security solutions, implementation, configuration, and support for Enterprise customers across private and public sectors.
• Develop a deep understanding of SIEM, Firewalls, Access Control, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), End Point Security and Log Management technologies.
• Assists in providing engineering analysis and support for firewalls, routers, networks and operating systems. 
• Undertaking tasks requiring a high level of technical analysis, diagnosis and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of the security products available on the market, how anti-malware software works, and how it is used in an Enterprise environment.
• The ability to perform analysis of log files from multiple different devices and environments, and identify indicators of security threats.
• Review and recommend the installation, modification or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affects security. 

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant industry qualifications.
• Proven experience in Enterprise class security (End Point Security, Encryption, Data Loss Prevention, Access Control).
• Proven experience in Enterprise class SIEM and Log Management systems (IBM QRadar / McAfee / Logrhythm / Splunk).
• Proven experience and skills in Forcepoint DLP and Cisco IPS / Firewall would be a plus, but not essential.
• Strong knowledge on Information Security, Network Security, and Cloud based implementations.
• Experience in network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments.
• Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-lists.
• Experience working with internet, web, application and network security techniques.
• Experience working with relevant operating system security (Windows, Solaris, Linux)
• Experience working with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologies.
