Key responsibilities:
Project Governance and Delivery
- The successful delivery of multiple, concurrent projects for multiple clients across Australia and New Zealand, in terms of:
- Profit and Loss
- Budgets
- Resources
- ROI / Customer satisfaction
- On going account management and ownership of the client relationship.
- Drive project management of projects assigned to the project managers to deliver.
- Direct involvement on each project as a key member of the Steering Committee or equivalent.
- Senior Stakeholder and Client Mgmt
- Understand the detail of each SOW and where we are tracking in terms of planning
- Adoption, delivery and auditing of the Verint Framework approach within each project.
- Ensuring a high rate of utilization for all services staff
- Client satisfaction in delivery and ongoing engagement
Management and Leadership
- Ensuring, on a regular and timely basis, their project teams and direct reports are effectively:
- motivated
- managed
- appraised
- mentored / coached
- developed
- Recruitment and retention of staff within the teams.
- Ensuring the appropriate resourcing of all Verint projects in a fair and impartial manner by working together with the other services managers.
- The fostering of team spirit and Verint culture in every project team
- Strategising on best practices within the Delivery space along with the other services managers along with thought leadership in its development
Sales / Commercial
- Ensuring the strategic importance of Verint within each client account.
- The on-going provision of services to each client account and the delivery of payments for those services.
- The winning of additional / follow-on projects and the reporting of this to the Verint VP and sales and accounting functions.
- The creation and delivery of sales proposals, RFIs, RFPs and other sales related documents, with a cross-functional (and often part-time) team and within tight deadlines.
- The coordination of estimation of duration and therefore the cost of specific Verint software projects of varying size (from small Proof of Concepts (PoC) to multi-million dollar, multi-phased deliveries).
- The creation, build and delivery of specific Sales Presentations, usually with an emphasis on project delivery, to support ongoing sales efforts.
- The management of teams devising, building and delivering Verint process-based demonstrations and PoCs.
- The selling, management and delivery of customer specific Feasibility Studies to time and budget.
Key skills, experience & personal attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline. Post-graduate qualifications would be highly regarded
- Experience working in a leadership role within a matrix-style global organization
- Proven experience in delivering services to Customers’ satisfaction & strong concurrent project management gained in a fast paced sales driven environment,
- Understanding of, and experience in Project Management life cycle
- Highly developed analytical and planning skills
- Strong people management, influencing and customer relationship skills
- Strong customer focus, drive and resilience
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Initiation to understand the levers of the business ; self-starter to create meaningful KPIs, quantitative analysis and ability to consistently follow through periodically
- Ability to scale up to discuss business at high level but also attentive to daily challenges
- Proven experience driving process improvement that lead to desired results
- Effective communication (verbal + written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations and deal with people at all levels
