Systems Analyst | Thunder Head

The primary role of the Systems Analyst is to own and manage the architecture of the Thunderhead application with my client. You will be responsible for ensuring that the technical design of the application achieves key objectives such as - cost effectiveness and speed to market.
Responsibilities:
Technical Analysis

• Collaborate with the IT department to influence the design of the fulfilment process.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications through requirement document.

Requirement Gathering/Project Implementation

• Participate in the requirement gathering process and influence the business on the best design set up for communication.
• Ensure that the project timeframes are delivered in the timeframes that are set out in the project plans.???????

Thunderhead Development

• Ensure current Thunderhead set up is scalable for all other projects/partners that are on boarded.
• Ensure that template development is followed in the correct manner as outlined in the system document.

Production Support

• Oversee and manage the production processes of the Thunderhead infrastructure.
• Perform reconciliation on the production processes daily to ensure that all fulfilment has been lodged.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve the current processes and work on the implementation of these with the senior System Analyst.
• Maintain awareness of new standards, technologies and trends, and present these to different business units

Key skills/Knowledge

• Advanced - knowledge of the TH platform.
• Ability to document business requirements that can be understood by technical and non-technical staff.
