The successful candidate will be exposed and have responsibilities across multiple elements of IT technology. If you are looking for a pidgeon hole job where you do the same task day in and day out, this job is not for you!

The role of this position is to respond to and solve Level 1 support requests.

You must have exceptional communication skills and be highly competent speaking on the phone.

A demonstrated knowledge of the following technologies would be looked upon favourably.

  • Windows 7 and 8, 10
  • Apple IOS
  • Android
  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Office
  • Remote Management and Monitoring software (RMM and PSA)
  • Microsoft Server 2008, 2012 and 2016
  • Active Directory
  • Backup technologies
  • Networking
  • Azure, AWS

The successful candidate will demonstrate they are quick learning, quick thinking and have exceptional problem solving skills. They will have the ability to work independently and make well thought out and rapid, effective decisions. However even more important is having good judgement on when the time is right to ask for help or escalate an issue.

We are looking for candidates with exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. You need to follow due process and see problems to it's conclusion, even when a task is difficult. You must know how to prioritise problems.

Candidates with degree qualifications and industry accreditation will be looked upon favourably.
