The Role
The purpose of the role is to successfully coordinate the set-up of Software as a Service products for EBSCO customers. The projects vary in scope and subject matter ranging from single component/customer set-ups to large scale multi-component/consortium implementations. The role requires candidates to have superior project management, technical, interpersonal and leadership skills to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations for different projects including collection and delivery of project specific data, customer facing communications and status reports.
- Create, manage and track project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines and other information that may impact delivery and/or quality of the project.
- Organise workflows, assign duties and tasks as required by the customer to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party partners to deliver the project on time.
- Provide technical support to customers and partners diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Prepare presentations, project documentation and reports.
The Candidate
- At least 2 – 4 year’s relevant direct experience in a project management, fast paced, software/technical environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – including communicating with a wide and varied audience with varied skills sets (technical and non-technical) and experience.
- Can demonstrate a proven background in collaborating with other teams and individuals.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external parties for the project.
- Have a resourceful approach and be prepared to seek solutions through research, information gathering, stakeholder discussions and apply sound business judgements.
- Degree qualified in a relevant field.
- PMP certified will be an advantage.
- Experience in the library industry is not essential however understanding library technology and practices will be beneficial.
This role interacts with clients and colleagues in different areas of the world and flexibility is essential in regard to working hours.
