Technical Lead - Global Organisation (Highest Growth Division)
The Company
You will be joining a renowned global product-based organisation who has a global reach in Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, is looking to add a Technical Lead to their development team located in the Sydney CBD. Our client thrives to build and have the most innovative solutions and people.
This role will be 80% development and 20% management role, you will be working with internal and external stakeholders - including GM, Digital Architect, other development leads.

Your responsibilities:
- Oversee the software development cycle from translating requirements to the release of code, production and testing.
- Ensuring and driving quality and robust coding culture.
- Mentoring a team of developers - personal development and coaching to providing technical leadership.
- Driving technical innovation within systems and scoping new modern frameworks and technologies to leverage.
- Ensuring production systems meets performance and availability requirements.
- Play a key role in delivering innovative technology solutions to cater for customer requirements and post implementation reviews - software design and documentation, and task estimation.
- Overseeing the delivery of projects and continuous improvement enhancements.
- Working closely and communicating with internal and external stakeholders - ensuring system stability and planning for future capability and improvements and delivery estimates.
Your technical and leadership experience:
- Previous experience with people management and ability to influence others.
- demonstrated technical leadership and managing delivery of SLDC and projects (Agile)
- Strong working knowledge of PHP frameworks - Laravel.
- Previous experience with JavaScript (AngularJS OR Vue.JS), HTML5 and CSS3.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Knowledge of object-oriented PHP Programming.
- Understanding fundamental design principles building scalable applications.
- Previous with working with integration development - API (Restful).
- Familiar with Database technologies - MySQL, SQL, NoSQL - Creating database schemas.
- Previous experience with GIT and BitBucket.
- Knowledge of security compliance and accessibility frameworks - Knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and solutions.
