A large South Australian organisation, specialising in aged care services is seeking to appoint a Business Systems Team Leader for their corporate head office located on the city fringe.

Reporting to the Systems & Information Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Business Support (Level 2 support) staff and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services for the core business systems used throughout the organisation.

The Role:

In this varied and challenging position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing overall IT support within the core Clinical, Financial and HR systems 
  • Liaising with internal users and management to identify, diagnose and resolve business needs
  • Analysing and documenting of business requirements
  • Providing advice and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to determine ICT solutions
  • Leading and developing a small team of Business Support staff
  • Providing support and backup for the Business Support team
  • Recommending and implementing policies, procedures and process improvements
  • Contributing to the overall ICT strategy
  • Promoting core business system awareness and competence throughout the business

 

About you

As a People Manager, you will provide effective leadership that motivates, encourages and promotes teamwork and collaboration. You will possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with management, staff and external vendors enabling the achievement of positive business outcomes.

Previous experience within aged care or not-for-profit isn’t required, however your alignment to the organisation’s values of Respect, Accountability and Connection is essential, as is your commitment to delivering an exceptional service.

Your strong technical background, and ideally previous experience implementing, administering and managing core business systems, will be complemented by tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Business Information or a related discipline.
