Your role ...

• The standard work day is a minimum of 8 hours between 7am and 7pm. Flexible working hours (including more than 8 hours/day) may be required at times where critical project deliverables are subject to time pressures.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, who have developed the ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ business processes, and Solution Architects who have determined the mix and configuration of the GP Smart Referrals solution to effectively imbed the required business changes.
• Understand and interpret Departmental and HHS policies, Service Plans and agreements with a view to ensuring alignment of proposed business process changes, seeking advice or proposing changes.
• Provide direct support to service and business unit managers with imbedding business process changes to effectively utilise deployed solutions and deliver positive outcomes for the SCHHS. This may include revision/definition of organisational roles and positions.
• Identify and establish measurement frameworks to capture value metrics – both pre and post change implementation (system and business process changes).
• Prepare submissions, investment concept briefs, briefing papers and business cases (or assist others in their preparation)
• Provide advice and guidance on best practice Portfolio, Program and Project management practices
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service Values

You'll be assessed on ...

• Proven ability in taking responsibility for business change, investigating business strategies, validating and justifying business needs, and preparing business cases and solution options using appropriate methodologies, techniques and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in the development and management of stakeholder relationships, understanding stakeholder needs, facilitating open communication, consultation and negotiation.
• Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and reviewing cost and resourcing estimates for ICT projects and an understanding of ICT program and project management.
• Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
