About the Role
Our Melbourne Technology Advisory Consulting practice is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to help drive this growth. Our focus is on delivering a full set of advisory and implementation services to enable IT to deliver true business value to our client’s business.
Our main priority is to ensure that we are always able to help our clients align their business and technology strategies and to pursue these in a sustainable and supportive way. As a Manager within our Technology practice, you will be expected to understand and apply Deloitte’s methodologies for delivering our core services. Other expectations include:
- Develop and manage project plans and functional specifications
- Build and manage relationships, interact with senior client stakeholders
- Manage other members in the Technology Advisory team - manage, counsel, coach, mentor
- Work with senior leaders on proposals and deliver technology solutions
- Accountability for the development and fulfilment of the engagement work
- Delivering specific technology solutions which address business issues such as the convergence of IT (information technology) and OT (operational technology).
About You
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the management of complex IT System implementation projects or transformations preferably with large ERP systems or equivalent Finance, HR, Asset Management, Procurement or Business Intelligence Reporting Systems.
You’ll be passionate about consulting to clients around the importance of architecture from a business perspective. The successful individual will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Apply expert knowledge of the use and impact of IT on clients’ business and industry in order to identify potential issues or business opportunities
- Make recommendations on the use of technology enablers and industry points of view
- Lead and conduct a system specification and selection process whilst defining system and business requirements at a functional level
- Expert knowledge of prevailing architecture services, hardware, standards, frameworks, and technology
- Ideally, experience managing and leading a team

The minimum salary requirement for this role is AU $145,000 including 9.5% superannuation
