About Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse:

Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse (GPPW) is one of Australia's most innovative and progressive independently owned chemist groups. We aim to maintain high levels of professional services and advice and provide continuous training to all our staff members.

 

We have a vacancy for an IT Network Administrator who has proven experience in planning, development and maintenance of LAN/WAN. The successful applicant will work as part of a team responsible for the daily management of all IT systems and processes for our Head Office.  You will also be responsible for coordinating the installation of all I.T. systems and technology infrastructure in new stores as they come online.

 

Position Requirements:

Broad experience in networking, computer support and installation in the small to medium business area is preferred. We are also after someone with a strong trouble-shooting ethic, software support and general networking capability.

The successful applicant will have the following requirements:

  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to report effectively to Management.
  • Proven ability to set-up and support network systems and computer equipment.
  • The willingness to learn new skills with attention to detail.
  • A willingness to be part of a team that is responsible for so much more than just network and desktop support.

The following applications, operating systems and technical experiences are essential:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 & 2016
  • Microsoft Windows 7, 8 & 10
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2010
  • SharePoint Administration
  • SharePoint development – not essential initially as training will be provided
  • Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS),
  • Server Virtualization Tools
  • Broad range of exposure to desktop, laptop and server hardware.
  • Broad range of exposure to printer and MFP hardware from different manufacturers.
  • CCIE certification or other relevant qualifications.
  • Prior exposure to P.O.S. systems would be an advantage, but not essential initially.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively to team members and management.

Drivers license and own vehicle required. Some travel, both locally and interstate is involved.

The successful applicant, must have had at least two years prior full-time network administration experience at this level and be equally experienced in the above applications.
