Our client is one of the largest IT vendors not only in Australia but around the world. They require a Desktop Support Engineer - Level 1 who will be responsible for the support of IT Devices and systems. Its a 6 months contract.

Please note:

  • Drivers Licence required;
  • NV1/ NV2 Clearance. 

Key skills for this role include: NV1/NV2 Clearance, PC Support - Windows 7, Microsoft Office and Imaging

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • The day-to-day support, rectification and maintenance of IT equipment;
  • Maintaining at all times a strong focus on effective delivery of results to the business units operating at the local site and providing general IT user support as required;
  • Installing, upgrading, setting up IT hardware/Software, and carrying out minor board-level repairs;
  • Maintaining appropriate configuration standards and procedures of all IT Hardware and software both Server and Desktop.

Essential skills:

  • Must have NV1/ NV2 Clearance;
  • At least 1 year experience in PC Support with Windows 7.
  • Experience in installing, upgrading and setting up IT Hardware/ Software.
