Deloitte Digital operates as part of the Consulting Customer practice and is a specialist group focusing on the delivery of online strategy, customer-centred design and online technology solutions. We work with a wide range of clients, from blue chip corporations to innovative start-ups, helping them adapt to and harness new media and technology. As a Strategy and Innovation Director you will drive game changing digital transformation projects for a range of clients, and also take the lead on how we attract, engage and understand the needs of our customers. Your goal will be transform our clients’ businesses into digital first, customer first world-leading organisations, as well as developing your own client base and leveraging off your skills, experience, and existing network to develop client relationships and bring new business into the Strategy and Innovation team.

About the role
As a Strategy and Innovation Director, you’ll work with our clients to understand their business requirements in the broader context of their digital strategy and advocate for the customer by developing innovative concepts brought to life. You’ll collaborate with the wider Digital team to deliver industry leading experiences across a broad range of products and services.

You will be expected to:

· Build a design strategy to align with the wider digital strategy, operating model, short to medium-term digital strategy roadmap for a range of clients
· Build high performing design strategy and innovation delivery teams
· Create an environment that yields a high performing culture and a diverse work environment that is both enticing and encouraging
· Align the organisation around digital adoption, agile, & lean strategic design and innovation delivery
· Vendor and supplier commercial management
· Generate revenue and identify new business opportunities through participating in the pre-sales cycle and creating proof-of-concepts.

About you
You live, love, and breathe strategic design thinking and bringing innovative solutions to life through end-to-end implementation. You have delivered solid solutions to complex problems and are able to provide consistent, high-quality results.

You will have:

· Successful track record of selling and end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex innovation engagements across industry sectors
· Demonstrated ability to build and manage successful multi-disciplinary teams, as well as manage multiple projects end-to-end from a budgetary and client relationship perspective
· A strong history of driving organic growth and value creation based on customer insights and rapid iteration
· Prior consulting experience with strategic design and innovation at the core of consulting work
· Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and influence decisions at board level

The minimum salary offered for this role is $180,000 AUD.
