The Role
Are you an experienced Solution Architect, looking for a new challenge?
An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen in our Solution Architecture team. This role is focused on pre-sales and will see you developing high-level infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements and producing proposals for the solution implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities
As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the technical sales process, working closely with the sales team;
- Being the technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle;
- Developing detailed technical proposals that meet customer objectives and budget;
- Delivering customer presentations and whiteboard sessions;
- Delivering presentations at marketing events and conferences;
- Developing proposals and responses to tender requests; and
- Engaging in new technology research to facilitate innovative and leading-edge approaches to internal and external opportunities.
Background Skills & Experience
We are looking for applicants with the following background, skills and experience
- Data Centre (VWware, Hyper-V, Storage);
- Cloud Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Identity and Access Management);
- Office 365 (including voice) (desirable);
- Network Architecture and design;
- Enterprise Routing, Switching and Firewall architecture and design;
- Windows 10 SOE/MOE (desirable), and
- Citrix (desirable).
Qualifications & Certifications
- ITIL Foundation (Required);
- Relevant Bachelor/Postgraduate study (Desired);
- TOGAF Foundation (Desired);
- Other architecture certifications (Desired).
