About the Role 

An opportunity for a Cybersecurity Lead DevOps to ensure that AGL’s customer and third party facing solutions, and customer data, are effectively secured and protected from internal & external threats and risks.

This role works closely with the Head of Engineering and other Technology Teams in AGL to implement SecureDevOps strategies.  They implement solutions to protect AGL’s applications and work collaboratively with BAU and Project teams.

The Cybersecurity DevOps lead will drive engineering teams to implement the security fixes that are required to reduce risk to our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), embedding secure code tools and processes and evangelizing for its use through training, comms and support.

• Ensuring cloud infrastructure, operating, and software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational expectations of security, availability, and performance
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of a robust but agile security control environment
• Contribute to user stories in support of cybersecurity requirements and automate security controls on the infrastructure and applications.
• Provide support for production issues relating to security of the systems and platforms and enabling speedy deployment of change
• Advise and guide AGL platform teams on securing data in transit and data at rest and on the best security decisions to help mitigate risk and control weakness.

About You 

We’d love to hear from you if you have successfully introduced Secure DevOps processes elsewhere and have thorough understanding of the Agile and DevOps world. You are an enthusiastic, committed, outcome-oriented personality, have a keen eye for detail and analysis with demonstrated problem resolution and leadership skills

• Experience with code scanning toolsets such as Fortify, and Ounce coupled with Cloud technology exposure
• Knowledge of standard SDLC practices, OWASP tools/methodologies & SABSA and common security requirements within ASP.NET application
• Understanding of HTTP and web programming and Experience in Identity and Access Management both customer facing and internal
• Strong subject matter experience in application security, vulnerability testing and Risk management experience with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations.
