Job Details
We are looking for a Software Developer with strong skills and a desire to work in a creative work environment as well as honing their knowledge and capabilities across the development lifecycle. A candidate who understands the balance between a strong, disciplined development processes and creative freedom will excel in our environment.
The role will focus on supporting and improving internal applications across our businesses as well as working on design and development of the software products we sell. We not only maintain and support existing solutions, we continuously look at new features to add which also leads to complete redesign and development to keep up with rapidly changing technology.
Core Competencies:
- Fluent programming languages required: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 2+, PHP, SQL
- Advanced competence with IDEs / text editors and using Git source code repositories
- Other programming languages desired: C/C++, C#, Swift, Python, Angular.js
- Familiarity with Web UI frameworks such as Material Design and Bootstrap
- Experience with Web development involving core java, java-script and native run-time modules – also, experience with creating dynamic web applications with HTML5
- Thorough understanding of client server architecture
- Competent working knowledge of IP networking and security
- Understanding of socket programming
- Competent working knowledge of Linux based operating systems using CLI
- Creative problem solving skills to diagnose and investigate the root cause of anomalies to correct faults using advanced debugging methods
- Ability to document workflows and code processes and describe functional attributes of the software at a code and feature level using UML
