Role overview:
This role is for a seasoned Program Manager who has a strong background in Stakeholder management at vendor, service provider and business level. This role is heavily stakeholder focused circa 60%, it is essential that the ideal candidate has been involved in steering committees.
Role particulars:
Looking after a stream involving several small and large projects you will work alongside 2 program managers looking after a range of application and business projects. The role will involve extensive stakeholder management coupled with extensive financials i.e. tenders of work and whether they are realistically priced etc.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be able to move ideas forward from thought process through to delivery phase. This role is ideally suited to a Program Manager who has been involved in strategy through to delivery.
Performing the key program and project disciplines to ensure successful delivery of programs and projects covering Governance & Reporting; Stakeholder Management; Resource & Performance Management; Planning; Scope Management; Supplier Management, Scope Management; Risk & Issue Management; Ongoing Learning & Assurance; Change Control; Cost Management; Benefits Management.
As the company is moving toward AGILE any experience within this field would be highly desirable as well as a strong understanding and proven track record in Program management KPIs.
Essential skills:
- Several years as a Program Manager
- AGILE experience desirable
- Extensive and solid stakeholder management including steering committees, vendors, service providers and the business
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in managing large scale, high-visibility ICT programs and projects
- Demonstrated high competency in the execution of multiple large projects
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management
- Gained experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects
- Gained experience in leading multi-discipline, high-performance work teams / groups
- Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- Experience working in a program management office (PMO), using project and portfolio management tools (e.g. ProSight, Primavera)
