The Role
Our innovative and highly specialised CRM Workflow Team have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior System Developer to join them on a permanent basis. As Senior Systems Developer, you will direct the development and delivery of solutions in support of QSuper’s I&T strategy. As a change champion, you will assess, analyse, develop and implement changes based on requests.
Reporting to the Team Leader - CRM and Workflow, you will develop solutions, prioritise and diagnose incidents, configure software and test platforms (specific versions). Our team is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior System Developer looking for their next challenge.
In a technology support capacity this role will be required, at times, to work outside normal business hours in order to meet agreed service levels for IT clients. The role may also be required to participate in a 24 x 7 on-call roster.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal Senior Systems Developer will have:
- Extensive experience developing in Java Systems (mandatory);
- Experience in developing Web Services (highly desirable);
- Good working knowledge of the Case360 platform;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or similar is highly desirable;
- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, particularly superannuation;
- Knowledge of full SDLC and Agile methodologies.
