Forerunner Computer Systems has provided leading IT Services to small to medium sized companies in South Australia for over 21 years. We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic web developer/programmer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be welcomed into a small but energetic company where they will provide support to both current and potential clients in the area of web design, development and web application programming.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with Open Source Platforms including WordPress
- UI Design Skills including Wire Framing and Photoshop
- HTML5 / CSS3
- Javascript / jQuery / Bootstrap / AJAX
- Responsive and Mobile Design
- Strong PHP Programming and MySQL Skills
- Experience with MVC Framework including Lavarel/Symfony2
- cPanel and WHM experience
The successful candidate must also have:
- The ability to work as part of a small team and autonomously
- Have a good understanding of software development and best practices
- Good time management and recording skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies
- A Federal Police check
Desirable Skills:
- Basic Linux Server Administration Skills
- Knowledge of SEO Best Practices and W3C Guidelines
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Marketing Skills and Social Media
- Other Technical IT Skills
