This is an exciting time in the growth of this national Australian manufacturing company who provide a unique range of products and services to the civil construction market. A key component of their proposed national growth strategy is to upgrade their business systems across all manufacturing and distribution sites and improve business processes, operating efficiencies and consistency.
You will be tasked with reviewing existing business systems and processes and making recommendations on how best to migrate to and report business activities on the SharePoint platform and related Office 0365 tool set. This will require a hands-on approach to manage the end-to-end life cycle of the continuous improvement platform and you will be the subject matter expert for Office 365/SharePoint for the group. You will be working closely with the management team and key stakeholders to help implement system data driven projects across the business systems including data reporting and analysis.
This will include:
- A review of business needs, scope project requirements, formulate and present business system data blueprint to meet current and future needs
- Identify business reporting requirements, available data sources and method for delivering key business reports and dashboards
- Develop business data analysis and interrogation solutions
- Implement business systems data solutions
- Intranet implementation and develop production performance KPI’s data collection
- Promote the platform, usage and good practices across the business and drive continuous improvement through good communication and training
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Appropriate IT related formal education i.e. undergraduate, tertiary or recognised certification
- Administration of Office 365 and SharePoint Online site administration, configuration and security management experience
- Custom reporting/analysis tool development with SQL and Power BI
- Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting requirements with an ability to articulate concepts from a business perspective and to translate them into technical requirements
- Ability to produce documentation to the appropriate level of technical and business detail.
- Knowledge of Content Management, UX and accessibility standards
This role would suit a task driven analyst with great communication skills who likes working in the business with the production, operations, sales, accounting, distribution and dispatch personnel and making technology ‘user friendly’ to non-technical people.
