Major Australian consulting firm seeking an experienced Senior MDM Consultant with strong background in Informatica MDM. This role will see you partner with the Practice Manager to establish an MDM practice within the Digital Analytics arm. 

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development of Informatica MDM
• Define, architect, develop, or support solutions using Informatica MDM to achieve a defined business outcome 
• Strong understanding or experience with data quality, data profiling and metadata management 
• Implement MDM Data Model modifications and efficient data migration techniques to support changes 
• Work closely with designated clientele, internal business partners, vendors, and consultants 
• Deliver production support, documentation of best practices, provide input to the technical solution to build re-usable and scalable MDM solutions
• Analyze components or modules of large or complex systems for significant phases of larger assignments 
• Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems 
• Follow technical service level and security standards for customer data systems 
• Understand and adhere to all industry standards and legal requirements regarding the storage and security of data 
• Identify and document problems and notify others as appropriate based on escalation procedures
• Work with the Project Management team to define tasks and contribute to team work plans 

Skills and Experience required::

• 5 years of experience in Informatica MDM
• Strong understanding of underlying MDM metadata/system tables
• Experience designing and developing applications for real-time MDM service integrations 
• Expert in designing and executing data fixes in MDM
• 5 years of SQL programming experience 
• Strong understanding of data structures, data flow, data patterns, and data governance 
• Strong understanding of relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, stored procedures, macros) 
• Strong analytical, data-analysis, and problem-solving skills 
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated collaborative skills 
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with critical attention to detail
