It is an exciting time in our business, with further growth planned. To support this growth, we’re looking for a commercially savvy and passionate IT Manager, with a strong background and experience in business systems, to join our National Support Office in Murarrie, Brisbane.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will use your technical expertise to ensure that the Green Leaves Group IT infrastructure, hardware and essential business systems and applications are managed, and supported across the group.

Day to day, you will:

• Develop the IT strategy and direction for the business in conjunction with the CEO and CFO
• Oversee and be the subject matter expert on business systems, applications and hardware
• Work with our vendors and service providers to manage and transition services where required
• Project manage the technology requirements for our new centre openings (telco, along with provision of infrastructure & hardware)
• Review and provide cost effective measures across all technology services
• Develop the appropriate IT policies and procedures and update as required.

Ideally, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable business systems role
• Strong experience with cloud based systems and applications, ensuring they are effectively developed, managed and supported across the group (i.e. Attache, MYOB, PeopleStreme, Salesforce, Timetarget, Intranet and QikKids or similar cloud based programs)
• Strong project management skills to ensure IT projects and programs are delivered on time, to budget and achieve project outcomes
• Demonstrated ability managing numerous stakeholders across multiple business divisions, and their expectations and priorities
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendor and service provider contracts in the execution and delivery of IT projects and services
• Experience in identifying and working with the business to ensure strategic improvements to service delivery and systems, along with the effective implementation of new initiatives.

You will be:

• Ideally tertiary qualified in Business or Computer Science, with a systems/applications focus
• Process driven to ensure efficient and effective outcomes across IT infrastructure and systems
• Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
• Able to clearly articulate systems and application functionality to technical/nontechnical staff at all levels
• Commercially minded, with the big picture in mind
• An advocate for business change, focused on continuous improvement
• Proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A critical thinker who can confidently identify, analyse and resolve problems
• Supportive and positive, and a natural leader capable of building a strong team to support the function
• Open to new ways of thinking and immersing yourself in continuous learning.
