Job Role – System Administrator(Window/VMWare/Citrix)
Location- Melbourne
Duration- 6 months
Job Summary-
We are seeking a strong System Administrator, with VMWare/Citrix skills to support. This role require expertise in developing and executing technical strategies and independently leading technical strategic initiatives. You will also support the rest of the team during busy times and troubleshoot Level 3 issues escalated from the Service Desk team involving servers and other applications.
Job Requirement
- Knowledge on Incident managemnet,Change Mangemnet,Problem Mangemnet,CMDB and Capacity Planning
- Understanding of SLA and knowledge of Documentation
- Responsible for providing on-call support to Windows Server infrastructure.
- Installation/Configuration/Managing XenServer/xenServer Farm (v5 or lastest)
- Advanced - Should be managing Xen Server Farm with HA at mutiple site
- Creation of Citrix VM/Clone providing them via Provisioning Server
- Backup/Hot fix installation on Xen Server
- Installation/Configuration Xen App 5.0 ( LATEST VERSION )
- Publishing Applications via Citrix Profile Manager
- Advanced knowledge on Citrix Edge Sight v5 for load testing
- Advanced Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Provisioning Server
- Advanced Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Web Interface
- Advanced Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Netscaler with Access Gateway Enterprise
- Advanced Knowledge and work Experience on Citrix Merchandising Server
- Day today handling Citrix Issues/Citrix User Issues
- Farm and Servers Reports / Maintenance
- Citrix Xen app client Issues
- Maintenance of all the Citrix Server Farm
Skills required
- Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008,2012 and Clusters
- Active Directory and VMware in depth knowledge
- Citrix knowledge
- Security Patch management using BMC, WSUS and Altiris
- Hardware administration on Dell hardware and HP.
