About the Role

This role will resolve technology incidents and service requests with a focus on continuous improvement to provide all business units of the RACQ Group with a health, highly available and stable technology platform. 

Duties

• Technology incident resolution utilising ITIL based practices
• Scoping, logging and executing changes to meet service requests
• Responsible for the technical implementation of Office 365 and support of the Office 365 tenancy
• Provide support for the End Users and IT team on the Office 365 platform
• Analyse, design, develop, document, and implement complex solutions for the end user computing systems
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate technology
• Report on recurring incident and identify trends and problems
• Identify efficiency gains and contribute to implementation of improvements
• Provide internal stakeholders with solutions, options and advice to provide cost effective outcomes

Skills & Experience 

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Office 365 - Exchange Online, and other services and integration
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in implementing and supporting server solutions, particularly Microsoft
• Demonstrated ability in analysis, design and configure application/server-based systems
• Relevant Microsoft certifications along with hands-on experience with the following skills:
  • Windows administration and Virtualisation (VMware and cloud-based virtualisation)
  • Cloud based services – Amazon, Azure, Google
  • Automation and scripting (PowerShell, VBScript etc.)
• Ability to work on an on-call roster and some out of hours as required
• Experience with the following skills will be highly regarded:
  • Automation, Coding, Scripting (Ruby, Python, JavaScript)
  • DevOps (Deployment, Config Management, Source Code Management, Testing)
