My client, a major OZ construction company, is currently going through a massive big data transformation project. They currently deal with a large amount of databases across the group. They have already started migrating data and building a data lake in the cloud (AWS/GCP).

They need a DBA to join the crew and deal with legacy system as well as the databases they are working on. If you are keen to upgrade your skills using the latest technologies, this is a perfect opportunity. You will be part of a team which is addressing super interesting business problems building up data solutions from scratch.

Job Responsibilities – DBA

• Manage the legacy system dealing with classic databases (SQL, Oracle)
• Identify the key different step of the migration and make sure the deployment is secure
• Bring your innovative vision and look after a smooth migration that will bring value to the stakeholders

Requirements – DBA

• Previous relevant experience in DBA positions
• Interest in cloud technologies
• Experience with old legacy systems
