The Role
Reporting to the Head of Software Development, this role will facilitate the gathering and communication of requirements between stakeholders and the engineering teams. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes and communication of findings. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
A large part of this role is working with stakeholders to elicit problem statements and detailed requirements and to be able to communicate this to the engineering teams. You will work closely with the QA team to document acceptance criteria.
In relation to the relocation to Brisbane, we are flexible with the location as long as it is within commuting distance to Brisbane, giving the person the opportunity to work remotely for part of the work week.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Model business processes and workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and communicate requirements
- Facilitate generation of a shared understanding of outcomes and impacts across a broad audience
- Prepare for and participate in agile refinement sessions
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field.
- The ability work closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
- The ability to write clear and concise documentation.
- The ability to clearly communicate complex processes to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development principles.
- Experience working on web based software projects
- Experience with Networking Technologies advantageous but not required
