The Role


Due to continued growth, our Global Information Services Group has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) - Lead to join their Information Services (IS) team in Brisbane.


Responsibilities
 
Key responsibilities of this role include: 
 
• Oversee the governance of project delivery for the IS team
• Provide a reporting framework focussed on transparency and early identification of risk and issues for all major programmes and projects
• Facilitation of a global approach to Project Management 
• Increase the project management maturity and capability within IS through the application of experience and knowledge in project governance.
• Provide internal leaders and executives with advice and guidance on project governance.
• Ensure all governance reporting is value-adding, accurate and timely, with appropriate reporting on project timeframes, budget, scope and benefits.


Skills, qualifications and experience:


• Tertiary qualifications in IT or similar related field
• PMO experience - 3 years+
• Knowledge of project management methodology and principles
• Highly developed project reporting skills 
• Stakeholder and influencing skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Previous experience with complex multi-project environments
