Junior Project Administrator:
This is a great opportunity to join an established team in a global organisation. This role will be reporting to the current Project Manager to lead the delivery of an End of Life upgrade to multiple Quick Service Restaurant sites on behalf of the client.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
Management of all project logistics activities in coordination with the customer, supplier and logistics partner
Confirm new site equipment consignments are accurate to the BOM and delivered as per the scheduled timeframes
Confirm that decommissioned equipment is removed from site post install in a timely manner and tracked through to disposal
Schedule Management
Complete updates to the Project Master Schedule
Make sure dates are suitable i.e. taking into account the blackout calendar
Transfer updates into our resource scheduling tool and confirm resource allocations
Schedule updates with all project team members
Update Schedule with the detailed tracking info for sites completed
Communications
Complete regular project reporting
Resolve queries from the project team members and escalate to PM where required
Disseminate team plans for action and track to completion
Complete calls for equipment and access confirmations
Anticipate and highlight any potential issues.
Mailbox Management
Action and move emails into relevant folders
Forward and advise then mark any actions for PM and Delivery Team members as required
Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail deployment projects would be highly advantageous
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Information Technology (IT) field in some capacity
- Experience in a Project Coordination capacity
- Proficient in management of multiple concurrent project activities
- Knowledge of financial management practices and general business management
- Demonstrated experience working within a project management methodology.
- Effective relationships with customer and management.
- Ability to manage members of the client team and subcontractors
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and cost targets without compromising customer requirements
