About the Role
This program will be responsible for standardising and improving the ICT’s business and financial management processes, practices and systems. Particular key focus areas and deliverables for this program will be to implement improvements to cost modelling, pricing, proposals and agreements, financial systems replacement, billing and invoicing, time tracking and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, review and finalisation of core financial management system requirements and the assessment of current vs future capability for the financial management system. You will use your deep financial systems experience (which includes knowledge of SAP), to manage the future functional needs of the financial management system.
As the Project Manager, you will:
- Manage the business and system analysis activities using appropriate project management documentation, techniques, tools and standards.
- Identify and engage extensively with stakeholders at various levels, to elicit, clarify and formalise their requirements, objectives and benefits.
- Provide advice to senior management and stakeholders, including the identification and communication of potential risks.
- Evaluate financial management systems and processes to maximise the efficiency of people, process and technology.
- Support the team environment by proactively sharing knowledge with group members through informal/formal interchange, workshops and documentation.
Key Experience
Your suitability for this role will be assessed against how well you:
- Proven extensive track record in successfully managing significant projects, with demonstrated history working with financial systems, in particular SAP systems.
- Demonstrated extensive skills in successfully managing and mitigating risks and / or issues that have the potential to impact project delivery.
- Proven high level ability in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, peers, service providers and stakeholders.
- Proven professional ability in using effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Degree level qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and capability.
- Undertake investigative work and critically analyse and evaluate business requirements and processes related to financial management systems and recommend a range of solutions to a high level.
- Effectively communicate (written and verbal) and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond to client needs and expectations.
- Contribute towards being an effective team player to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Experience with financial management systems, including SAP, is mandatory.

- Prince2 Certification.
