About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Desktop Support Analyst (1 - 2 Level) to join our IT department on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a wonderful team and utilise your expertise, where they will be appreciated and rewarded.

This role will see you specifically focus on providing level 1-2 desktop support for 130 staff located within our head office and interstate branches.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Desktop Support is a dedicated role with the specific intent to provide ERIC Insurance staff with a customer centric, practical, no nonsense, resolution for any and all issues they may encounter.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while supporting key business systems and services
  • Monitor and maintain day to day ticket queues
  • Processing, allocate and escalate IT ticket requests to relevant teams for resolution as required
  • Management and troubleshooting of desktops and laptops includes:
  • Work very closely with other IT teams to find resolutions to issues (e.g.: Infrastructure, Software Development, Database)
  • Ensure that all customer requirements are addressed in the most efficient time and manner possible
  • Remote Access interstate offices/printers/end users
  • · Management and troubleshooting of desktops and laptops includes:
    • OS upgrades (Currently Win10 Pro)
    • Patching (WSUS)
    • Device End Point Protection (Sophos)
    • Remote Access interstate offices/printers/end users

About You

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar service desk role
  • Proactive, flexible, hands on role
  • Comfortably working autonomously in a changing environment
  • MS qualifications would be favourable
