The Job:

 
As the Network and Security Presales Architect, you will play a key technical consulting role that is pivotal in supporting the sales team. You will be responsible for meeting with customers, understanding their requirements, designing solutions and developing the proposals that address their business requirements.
You will also be involved in delivering projects, leading the design and implementation of the solution to meet the client’s requirements and ensuring that the solution can be handed over to the support teams.

Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Understanding business requirements through consultation with client stakeholders
• Designing elegant solutions that meet client needs
• Developing technical proposals outlining the proposed solution, the scope of work, pricing and bill of material if required
• Responding to RFx as required
• Presenting solution for internal stakeholder review and approval
• Presenting the solution to customers and addressing questions
• Working on projects to deliver the solution design to clients
• Working in collaboration with other teams to develop strategy and roadmap aligned to client’s business strategy
• Providing thought leadership and championing good network and security practices
• Preparing documentation that provides the relevant teams with the right level of information to do their job
• Building trust and becoming a trusted advisor for clients
• Managing relationships across the business including sales teams, project management teams and technical delivery teams.

You will be a highly experienced network architect on a wide range of networking and security technologies. You will be at ease presenting to a broad audience and enjoy sharing your knowledge with your peers.


The Experience:


You will have demonstrated experience in developing and writing proposals or business cases for Networking and Security solutions, with a minimum of 10 years in delivering medium to complex network architectures. You will need to have the relevant and current network certifications and a strong business acumen.
