About the role
Do you enjoy communicating with and helping customers over the phone? Are you comfortable with providing remote support and face-to-face onsite assistance to a range of end users?
As a Helpdesk Support Person, you will work closely with existing staff to support our valued clients with:
- general day-to-day troubleshooting
- setting up of new users
- software and hardware configuration
- connectivity and email troubleshooting
- project work such as planning, deploying and troubleshooting cloud and server migrations.
As your role will involve daily interaction with clients, both over the phone, as well as in person at customer premises, you will also need to have:
- excellent communication skills
- professional dress standard
- a current driver's license
- roadworthy vehicle
- commitment to clearly documenting all work carried out
Experience with the following software would be invaluable:
- O365
- Windows Exchange Server
- Windows Server
- Workstation Software
- MS Office
- PowerShell
Some coding ability would also be a positive but is not essential for this role. Part time hours could also be a possibility.
