THE ROLE
The successful candidate will process some of the below experience and will service cross functional management systems within this company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to broaden their skillset and work in a process orientated environment. It is an initial 6-month Contract looking for an immediate start.
- Co-ordinate risk activities.
- Oversee risk reporting & insight.
- Develop and implement improvement plans and joint improvement activities.
- Incorporation of Risk Considerations into Plans, Projects and Assurance Projects.
- Work with IT and the Business to Build an IT Risk Capability.
- Integrate risk into internal audit & assurance processes.
- Develop and integrate specific risk Information and Data Management frameworks, policies and guidelines documents as part of the existing Risk Management Framework.
Skills Required:
- Experience in Information Security, Risk Management or Audit coupled with relevant formal education or certification or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years Financial Services or relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT risk assessment programs.
- Broad knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
- Confidence in engaging with senior business stakeholders, including technology leaders to help them better manage their technology risk through pragmatic and fit for purpose solutions.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Personal drive to achieve required outcomes within specified timeframes.
