Your new company
A Victorian Government Organisation that plays an important role within the community requires a Network Manager for a 6 month fixed term contract with a strong possibility of an extension, located in Melbourne’s CBD.
Your new role
Due to a digital transformation in the organisation you will be responsible for:
- Lead the vendor partnerships and to manage the operational and enterprise project across the environment and service
- Liaise extensively with Architecture and ICT teams across the organisation
- Manage the services supplied by vendor parties with enhancement and new services
- Engage widely across the organisation to facilitate workshops for the purposes of information discovery, root cause identification and for the establishment of supporting project briefs
- Analyse current services and consult on solutions for the organisation
- Manage a program of work related to projects and operational changes required to support change in the ICT environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in managing a large network and systems vendor services and stakeholder management.
- Qualifications or Certifications in Cisco, Juniper or other network management providers -CCNP, JNCP, WCNA.
- Experience using End User Experience Monitoring Technologies such as AppDynamics, and Splunk
- Experience in leading service improvement initiatives and extensive experience in large-scale IT operations.
