We are a premium provider of debt recovery and receivables management services, operating from state of the art offices in the heart of Adelaide.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our team.  This is an excellent opportunity for a well presented all-rounder to utilise their initiative and skills.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Preform preventative and scheduled maintenance on IT assets.
  • Installation and configuration of new equipment such as computer desktops and printers.
  • Installation updating and configuration of software across a range of platforms.
  • Monitor, respond and diagnose all facets of daily IT issues through the company.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues as they occur through the company.
  • Appropriately escalate issues to the external IT support team whilst maintaining responsibility for close out.
  • Deal with IT support requests including training and demonstrations.
  • Assisting the external IT support team in appropriate access to the onsite IT equipment.
  • Coordinating with vendors or technicians for service to access the onsite IT equipment.

Skills and experience:

  • A demonstrable passion for IT across a broad spectrum demonstrating high levels of initiative and a strong work ethic.
  • A basic understanding of Network infrastructure (ie: switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems.
  • Strong trouble shooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical user base.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

The following attributes would also be desirable:

  • Tertiary education, industry certifications or equivalent experience highly regarded.
  • Test and tag certificate.
  • MS-SQL experience.

To be successful in this role you must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a professional manner and show a willingness to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge.

Remuneration will be negotiated according to demonstrated skills and experience.

A National Police Clearance Certificate is required for the successful applicant.
