• Clerk Grade 7/8, Salary ($94,782 – $104,918), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading 


About us


The Department of Justice delivers legal, court and supervision services to the people of NSW by managing courts and justice services, implementing programs to reduce crime and re offending, managing custodial and community-based correctional services, protecting rights and community standards and advising on law reform and legal matters.


Digital and Technology Services works in close collaboration with various business units to deliver a range of information and communication technology projects that support key business objectives.


About the role


The Business Analyst – ICT Strategy and Investment reviews and analyses requirements for new systems, applications and functions to ensure strategic ICT objectives are met and are in line with the organisation’s business intentions. The deliverables of this role include high level requirements, business cases, programs of work specifications and benefits management plans. The role will also work in partnership with solution architects to assess solution options to deliver business outcomes.


Essential Requirements


• Tertiary qualifications or extensive equivalent knowledge and experience related to the position.


About you


• Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders, users & technical staff to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information.
• Distil business needs to identify fit for purpose options.
• Provide accurate advice about technical issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions
