Purpose of Role
The Senior Test Analyst’s role is to design, plan, execute and ensure compliance in delivery of quality products to production.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare test deliverable documents and the ability to conduct peer reviews
- Performance of test executions and reporting
- Mentoring and developing less experienced testing resources
- Engage and liaise business operational areas on testing activities
- Ability to use and manage Jira-defect test tool
- Ability to use and manage requirement traceability matrices
- Ability to articulate problems in concise manner at all levels

Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in testing, preferably 2 years as a Senior Test Analyst
- Testing experience across multiple test phases
- Strong understanding of the testing lifecycle
- Experience working concurrently on multiple test streams across multiple projects
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Solid knowledge of defect management principles and processes
- Experience working in complex integrated financial services environments (ideally Superannuation and Pensions)
- Experience working in a business orientated project management environment
- Formal training in testing and test qualifications preferred

- Computer Science Degree (or equivalent), Relevant Tertiary qualifications
