About the role

The Leader of Data & Insights will lead a team and deliver on Digital Services larger strategic initiatives, by leveraging data from the enterprise data warehouse to provide supporting data, analysis and insights to delivery teams and Customer Experience operational departments.

The Leader of Data & Insights leads a team which utilises all reasonable data available (internal and external) to provide deep data driven insights on customer experience and provides recommendations for action. This role will fundamentally lead a group of technical experts that will be charged with the role of finding opportunities reduce customer effort and increase customer experience.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience or wanting to step up into a leadership role (support provided) in Telco, Energy or in Information Communications Technology.
• Significant experience in SQL, data visualisations and data models with deep understanding of data warehouses.
• Demonstrated large scale project management experience within a customer service driven organisation with complex matrix style structures
• Understanding of all Occupational Health and Safety standards, policies and requirements.
• High level strategic analysis and conceptualisation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in translating business objectives into relevant business strategies.
• Excellent relationship building skills to support implementation and buy-in of key strategies.
