Graduate/Junior Software Developer
The client is Australia's leading technology service provider operating within their own industry. And due to continual growth and rapid expansion, our client is in search of a highly academic Computer Science Graduate/Junior Software Developer that has a true passion working with Web Application Development and frameworks such as JavaScript & Angularjs.
As a Graduate/Junior Software Developer, you will contribute towards application development of Software as a Service platform (SaaS) and ensure that all code is tested as part of the development tasks. Over a 12-month period, you will undergo an initial 4-week training program to pick you up to speed and be mentored by the Application Development Manager to provide quality software maintenance activities. This is a great chance to make your mark in the Software Development world!
REQUIRED Skills/Experiences:
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a local/reputable Australian University with DISTINCTION AVERAGE results
- Very good understanding and University experience using Javascript/Angularjs
- Theoretical or Practical experience with XML, XSLT or JSON is required
- An understanding of Databases (MySQL & MsSQL) and writing SQL Queries
- Solid COMMUNICATION skills are key
- You MUST HAVE at least Australian PR
Desirable Qualities:
- 6 months to a year of commercial experience with object-oriented web development
- Able to be part of a dynamic team and work independently with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated ability to meet and maintain deadlines; skilful multi-tasker
- Strong desire and willingness to learn old/new skills and technologies as required
- Experience with Stored Procedures and Restful API's and their structure
